Living Forest - Kateřina Blahutová

  • Instalace

The colourful kinetic installation Living Forest highlights the pressing problems of a landscape whose health has been disrupted by the interplay of the unfortunate farming practices of recent centuries and the effects of the global climate situation. However, it looks at this issue from a positive point of view - its main idea is that by working together we can save the landscape. In this work, it is possible to symbolically bring life to a dead forest and at the same time contribute through crowdfunding to planting suitable new trees in the landscape. The installation is designed to be reusable. Through it, funds can be generated in various locations around the world for organisations that are involved in long-term forest restoration.
